Report an Absence

High School

Regular attendance is necessary for the student's academic success. It also promotes a positive work ethic for employment skills and future success.

Attendance Line: 111-111-1205. This voicemail attendance hotline is open 24 hours per day.

 

School Day Hours

7:40 a.m. - 2:32 p.m.

Tardies

The student's day begins at 7:40 a.m. Students arriving after 7:40 must get a tardy slip from the office and take it to their teacher.

Requesting Homework

  • Students should check their Moodle account for homework.
  • Make-up work for all absences must be completed. Failure to complete make-up work will result in an incomplete or failure in the course.

 

Middle School

Please call our 24 hour attendance line at 111-111-1405. School policy states that if your son or daughter has been sent home from school due to fever, vomiting, diarrhea or due to an infection they are to remain out of school for 24 hours before returning . This policy is in affect for the safety and health of all students attending New Prague Schools. Please leave the following information when calling in your child’s absence. Your child’s name, grade, date and symptoms of your child’s illness or reason they are absent from school. Thank you.

Eagle View

Research tells us that valuable learning also takes place at the beginning and the end of the school day. It is necessary to refrain from interrupting class time.

  • Attendance is taken at 9:10 a.m. each day. Students arriving after this time need to be signed in at the office by a parent/guardian. Late arrivals, without a note or call before 9:10 a.m., will be recorded as unexcused. We also ask that you respect our school hours and not take your child out early. 
  • The attendance voicemail number is 111-111-6005 (available 24 hours/day). For attendance recording, we need to receive absence information in the office. Teachers appreciate being notified also. Students will receive an unexcused absence if a call or note is not received in the office when students are absent.
  • If your family is going to be on vacation, please send a note to the office prior to the trip so that the absence can be excused. Also inform the teacher in order to get homework ahead of time.
